After graduating from the Institut d’Orthophonie Gabriel Decroix, in Lille, I then worked in liberal practices in several regions.
My great mobility has allowed me to encounter very varied situations, both in socio-cultural and sometimes linguistic aspects, and in the diversity of pathologies and numerous cases.
I was also made aware of the problem of access to care and inequalities in this area, by working in areas with sometimes 2 to 3 years of waiting for a first
appointments, or even no new additions accepted on the waiting list because of its length, when in other regions, on the contrary, the professionals are too numerous and do not fill
not their schedule. In this context, telespeech therapy has a lot to offer.
In perpetual renewal of my knowledge (training, documentary research, exchanges between colleagues), I am attentive to scientific advances and new approaches including
effectiveness has been proven.
I usually receive children with: dysorality, articulatory disorders, atypical swallowing, speech delay, language delay, deafness, logical-mathematical disorder, acquisition disorder
written language, dyslexia, dysorthographia, stuttering, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (autism, etc.). Regular contact with parents (parental support) is beneficial, and is
often essential for the good development of the child.
I also see adults: voice (particularly Parkinson’s disease), dysarthria (ALS, MS, etc.), deafness (lip reading, cochlear implantation), stroke and head trauma, pathologies
degenerative neurological (Alzheimer, …).
