What is orthoptics?
Eye rehabilitation. We have 2 eyes to see well. Each eye sees its
image. It is by a fusion of the 2 images that we see simple and that we
perceive the relief. An image can be perceived blurred because the muscles are not working
not correctly. Orthoptics is also indicated in the treatment of certain
Aspects of learning disabilities.
What I offer:
Orthoptics is mainly practiced in the office, face-to-face. I therefore put
point out a method using all the tricks at our disposal to make
work the eyes in teleconsultation. The range of exercises is varied and leads to
progress in the control of eye movements. I propose a plan of
personalized treatment with adaptation according to the progress of the patient.
For who ?
For children of school age, for students, for adults.
What day-to-day remediation?
A school-aged child may have trouble reading and may skip lines or
read too quickly or too slowly. He may have difficulty getting into
space, objects are perceived disproportionately, its landmarks can be
fuzzy, the storage is very quickly overwhelmed… In fact there may be a
vision problem, his two eyes may not be working together…
A student may have entire pages blurry, have trouble concentrating, or
An adult can be embarrassed at night while driving or have headaches after a
long time in front of a computer screen.
My goal is to teach you how to better use your eyes in all
circumstance, because my experience has enabled me to better understand the difficulties
visuals and their lack of support.
