What is orthoptics?
Eye rehabilitation. We have 2 eyes to see well. Each eye sees its
picture. It is by a fusion of the 2 images that we see simple and that we
perceive the relief. An image may be perceived as blurry because the muscles are not working
not correctly. Orthoptics is also indicated for the treatment of certain
Aspects of learning disabilities.
What I propose:
Orthoptics is mainly practiced in an office, face-to-face. So I put in
point a method using all the tricks at our disposal to make
work the eyes in teleconsultation. The range of exercises is varied and leads to
a progression in the mastery of eye movements. I propose a plan of
personalized treatment with adaptation according to the patient's progress.
For who ?
For school-age children, for students, for adults.
What daily remediation?
A school-aged child may have difficulty reading and may skip lines or
read too fast or too slowly. He may find it difficult to place himself in
space, objects are disproportionately perceived, its landmarks can be
fuzzy, storage is quickly overwhelmed ... In fact there may be a
vision problem, his two eyes may not be working together ...
A student may have entire pages blurry, have trouble concentrating, or
An adult may be embarrassed when driving at night or have a headache after a
long passage in front of a computer screen.
My goal is to teach you how to use your eyes better in all
circumstance, because my experience has allowed me to better understand the difficulties
visuals and their lack of support.

In 1985, and for 8 years, I offered school screening in different establishments.
Finally, I worked at the intercommunal hospital of Créteil in the AMD department, which allowed me to better understand the difficulties experienced in cases of central vision loss and the need to develop peripheral vision.
