Before joining the Dismed network, I worked in private practice, in private and multidisciplinary clinics, and also within medical facilities, specifically in a children's clinic in France and Vietnam.
Alongside my practice, I am committed to pursuing continuous training in various fields (parental support, oral motor disorders, bilingualism...) to enhance my practice and update my knowledge. I conduct my practice in French and can provide parental support in English. The assessment is a prerequisite for initiating rehabilitation sessions. During the first consultation, we discuss to define your personal and medical history, or that of your child; then I gather information to understand your difficulties, as well as your strengths, or those of your child.
Subsequently, the assessment itself is conducted over 2 or 3 sessions, using standardized tests. Upon its completion, a written report is provided, allowing for discussion of intervention modalities (parental support, individual sessions, information sharing with other involved professionals...).
Rehabilitation sessions generally last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on individual needs and attention spans. The materials used are varied, adapted, and progressive.
Speech therapy intervention for: infants, children, adolescents, adults. Conditions treated: swallowing/feeding disorders, communication disorders/disabilities, oral language, written language, fluency/stuttering, neurodegenerative diseases, aphasia following a stroke or head trauma.
