My Professional Background

An orthoptist, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier in 1983, I supplemented my training with internships at Nantes Hospital in Professor Quéré's Strabology department, and at the National Ophthalmology Center of 15/20 in Paris, as well as training on spatial disorders and learning difficulties in 2012.

I started working at Cholet Hospital, then in Bourges. I worked for 12 years as a private practitioner in the Paris region and within a medical practice.

In 1985, and for 8 years, I offered school screenings in various institutions. Finally, I worked at the Créteil intercommunal hospital in the AMD department, which allowed me to better understand the difficulties experienced in cases of central vision loss and the need to develop peripheral vision.

Orthoptics is primarily practiced in-office, in person. I have therefore developed a method utilizing all available techniques to train the eyes via teleconsultation. The range of exercises is varied and leads to progress in mastering eye movements. I offer a personalized treatment plan, adapted according to the patient's progress.

For your first appointment

For your appointment, we will ask you:

  • the date of birth of the person who will receive the care
  • the class for children and teenagers
  • the reason for the teleconsultation

For school-aged children, for students, for adults.

A school-aged child may struggle with reading, skip lines, or read too quickly or too slowly. They may experience difficulties with spatial orientation, perceive objects disproportionately, have blurry spatial cues, or quickly become overwhelmed with organization... In fact, there might be a vision problem, perhaps their two eyes are not working together...

A student may experience blurry pages, have difficulty concentrating, or suffer from headaches.

An adult may experience discomfort while driving at night or suffer from headaches after prolonged computer screen use.

My objective is to teach you how to better utilize your eyes in all circumstances, as my experience has allowed me to better understand visual difficulties and the lack of proper management.
