The clinical psychological assessment is an in-depth evaluation of a person's psychic and emotional functioning at any age, conducted using clinical interviews and, if necessary, adapted psychometric tools.
It allows for the exploration of various aspects such as mood, anxiety, coping strategies, personality, and social interactions, in order to better understand the difficulties encountered and to guide towards appropriate support.
The reference framework for formulating diagnostic hypotheses is the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition), an international reference for the classification of psychological disorders.
The assessment includes:
- 3 sessions of 45 minutes for interviews and the administration of any targeted tests and questionnaires.
- A written report will be provided at the end. The total cost is €200.
The WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – 5th edition), published in 2014, is the most recent version of the standard intelligence test for children and adolescents aged 6 to 16.
It evaluates various cognitive domains such as verbal comprehension, fluid reasoning, working memory, processing speed, and visuospatial abilities. The test consists of a series of engaging and varied tasks in the form of questions, manipulations, or timed exercises.
The assessment includes:
- a 1st session of 45 minutes for a preliminary interview
- a 2nd session of 2 hours for test administration
- a 3rd session of 45 minutes for feedback.
A written report will be provided at the end. The total cost is €550.
The Brown Scales, created by Dr. Thomas E. Brown in the late 1990s, are a standardized assessment tool used to measure the impact of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) on daily functioning.
They are based on a questionnaire targeting several cognitive and emotional domains, in order to better identify difficulties encountered in academic, professional, or personal life.
The assessment includes:
- a 1st session of 45 minutes for a preliminary interview
- a 2nd session of 45 minutes for scale administration
- a 3rd session of 45 minutes for feedback.
A written report will be provided at the end. The total cost is €200.
