Video-conferencing consultations for children and adults.
Adult consultations:
Remotely, via videoconferencing, or in person at my office, I see many patients with issues that are always unique, despite the frequently encountered diagnoses: depression, bipolar disorder, addiction, etc. Restoring psychic vitality means grasping what's at stake in the repetitions that constrain us, or in the suffering we feel we're burdened with. If you want to free yourself from them, your words need to be listened to in a respectful, humanistic and non-judgmental way, so that you can develop and build on new ways of being that belong to you.
Child consultations:
I meet with children, from toddlers to teenagers, and frequently work in collaboration with teachers, school psychologists, and speech therapists. Learning difficulties can have many causes. To understand the causes, it is essential to first carry out a psycho-affective clinical assessment and, if necessary, continue with a psychometric test. Specifically trained to administer the latest version of the WISC V, I am able to carry out an assessment (which requires the child to have a good command of written and spoken French), following which a full written report will be given to you after an oral feedback session, during which we will have taken the time to go back over and detail the observations and conclusions reached.
The WISC V Assessment:
The international benchmark for measuring children's intelligence
The new version of the Wechsler Scale incorporates the latest findings from neuroscience research in order to explore the various processes involved in learning. It enables a more complete assessment of the child's abilities, and identifies resources and difficulties, so that appropriate responses can be proposed more quickly and easily.
Enhanced clinical utility
- Assess general cognitive functioning in the context of learning difficulties or disorders
- Assess high potential
- Determine cognitive profile in cases of developmental delay or acquired brain injury
- Contribute to the diagnosis of intellectual disability (DSM 5), assist in the decision to refer to specialized institutions
- Used in conjunction with other neuropsychological tests, WISC-V results can provide insights into overall neuropsychological functioning
The assessment consists of three 45-minute sessions, followed by a two-hour assessment session, and finally another 45-minute feedback session.
Brown's Scales:
The Brown EF/A Scales are used to explore behaviors suggestive of fragile or impaired executive and/or attentional functions in children and adolescents aged 6 to 18.
The Brown EF/A Scales are a major revision of the Brown Attention-Deficit Disorder Scales (1996, 2001) previously published in the USA, and of the Échelle d'Évaluation des Troubles de l'Attention - Adolescent (ADD) published in 1998 in French (ECPA). Depending on the situation and age group, different questionnaires can be used to gather information from the child/adolescent in difficulty, as well as from their parents and/or teachers.
The statements in the Brown EF/A Scales cover all of the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity (ADHD), but also include other symptoms suggestive of executive functioning difficulties.
If there is a request for both the WISC V Assessment and Brown Scales, the fee for these two services will be €650.
